Project Overview

We are looking for a Junior Manual QA Engineer to join Group107 for a WordPress department. The main focus of this role is design-oriented QA — verifying that developed websites and digital products accurately reflect approved designs, are pixel-perfect, responsive, and visually consistent across all devices. The role starts with WordPress projects and expands over time to cover broader web QA tasks.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and a sharp visual eye for noticing small design differences;
  • Good knowledge of responsive web layouts and ability to identify inconsistencies across breakpoints;
  • Ability to compare developed pages against Figma/design files and document mismatches precisely;
  • Basic understanding of WordPress and willingness to learn quickly;
  • Ability to write clear, structured bug reports understandable by both developers and designers;
  • Upper-intermediate+ level of English;
  • Highly detail-oriented, patient, and organized in day-to-day work;
  • Team player with clear communication skills when working with developers, designers, and project managers;
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn new tools and QA practices quickly.

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with WordPress (admin panel, page editing);
  • Experience working with Figma (reviewing designs, using inspect mode);
  • Basic HTML/CSS understanding — enough to identify layout and styling root causes;
  • Experience with Jira, ClickUp, Trello, or similar task management tools;
  • Familiarity with Gutenberg blocks;
  • Basic accessibility awareness;
  • Experience testing multilingual websites.

Responsibilities

  • Compare developed pages against approved Figma/design files and report visual discrepancies (spacing, alignment, typography, colors, icons, images) clearly and accurately;
  • Test WordPress pages after development — checking Gutenberg/custom blocks from both the user side and admin side, verifying menus, headers, footers, forms, buttons, and page sections;
  • Test responsive behavior across desktop, tablet, and mobile; flag layout breaks and inconsistencies;
  • Perform pre-delivery checks before client review, ensuring the final result matches the approved design;
  • Write structured, clear bug reports and communicate findings to developers and designers;
  • Over time, support additional manual QA tasks — functional testing, cross-browser testing, regression testing after bug fixes, and checklist-based acceptance verification.

Growth Potential

This role is designed for someone who grows over time. Expected progression includes:

  • Full manual QA ownership for WordPress projects
  • QA coverage for broader web platforms and landing pages
  • Creating and maintaining test cases and QA checklists
  • Regression testing and release QA ownership
  • Accessibility QA basics
  • Future automation QA basics, if relevant

We Offer

  • 20 vacation days (workdays);
  • 7 sick days;
  • Personalized career growth;
  • Internal English classes;
  • Education reimbursement;
  • Corporate events and team buildings;
  • Equipment provided.

Hi, my name is Anastasia and I am a Scrum-master in Group 107. In 2020, Group 107 came into my life and became my place of strength and development. Here I found the best mentors who teach me every day and help me to develop as a professional. Here I found a cool team that became friends and even family for me. I love how the company grows, welcomes new employees every day. I also adore the responsibility of each and the friendly relations within the team. I want our Group 107 family to only develop and grow.

I have been working for Group 107 for almost 1.5 years.When I came to work there were only about 20 people, at the moment there are more than 100 of us and the feeling of support and friendship remains the same as in a small team. I love our people, I love the pace of the company, I love the fact that we are always moving forward. In short, our Group 107 is a big Italian family!
