We are looking for an experienced and innovative R&D Director to join the team on the project. Trusted by thousands of clients across Brazil, including SMBs, medium enterprises, and government organizations, the project is expanding globally to solve workforce management challenges on a larger scale.
Requirements
- Leadership: Proven experience in leading and managing R&D teams.
- 14+ years of development experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical capabilities with a deep understanding of KPIs.
- 8+ years of experience designing and developing scalable systems.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js.
- Proficiency in microservices architecture and unit testing.
- Expertise in both RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with message queues like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or NATS.
- Proficiency in cloud-based architectures and SaaS solutions.
- Strong Linux system administration skills.
- Upper-Intermediate English (B2+) in both written and spoken communication.
Nice to have
- Experience with Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with Redis and Elasticsearch.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day R&D operations, managing and guiding a team of highly skilled professionals.
- Participate in the entire product lifecycle — from brainstorming new ideas to shipping features to production.
- Design and build new services while improving system performance and scalability.
- Improve system performance and scalability.
