Trainee Graphic Designer

Project overview

We are looking for a Trainee Graphic Designer to join Group107. The primary focus of this role is editing and enhancing presentations to ensure they align with brand identity and meet professional design standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to build hands-on design experience while contributing to real client-facing materials across departments.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• High-level knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Word for creating and editing presentations
• Basic understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design principles
• Strong attention to detail with a creative approach to problem-solving
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and prioritize tasks

SOFT SKILLS

• Self-motivated with a genuine enthusiasm to learn and grow in the graphic design field
• Team player who is open to feedback and willing to iterate on work
• Reliable and organized — able to manage multiple small tasks without losing quality
• Proactive in asking questions and seeking guidance when needed

Nice to have

• A portfolio (academic or personal) showcasing any design work — presentations, branding, layouts, or illustrations
• Experience with Figma or other collaborative design tools
• Familiarity with motion or animation basics (Adobe After Effects, PowerPoint animations)
• Interest in brand identity and visual storytelling
• Experience working in an agency or corporate design environment

Responsibilities

• Edit, format, and enhance presentations to ensure consistency, clarity, and visual appeal across all deliverables
• Work within the design team to implement brand guidelines in presentations and other visual materials
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to understand their design needs and translate requirements into polished visuals
• Create and maintain presentation templates and graphic assets aligned with company standards
• Provide design feedback and suggestions to improve layout, structure, and visual communication
• Assist with additional design tasks as needed, including image editing, resizing, and asset formatting
• Contribute to a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the design team
