At Group107, we are looking for a highly skilled and versatile Lead Software Engineer to join our innovative SaaS healthcare project. Protego is dedicated to proactively reducing medical claim denials by integrating intelligent recommendations based on payor-specific policies and coding guidelines directly into the claim creation workflow. Our goal is to significantly reduce the time spent addressing complex insurance denials by leveraging advanced technologies, including AI-driven solutions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with at least 5 years specializing in Python
- Proven experience in full-stack development.
- Expertise in SaaS product architecture and cloud solutions.
- Strong background in databases and data flows.
- Excellent English communication skills (Upper-Intermediate B2+, ideally Advanced).
- Positive, energetic, flexible, and agile personality with exceptional interpersonal skills.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or related field, or relevant military experience.
- Experience with React development
- Experience in healthcare, medical data, or compliance (HIPAA, SOC 2).
Responsibilities
- Lead full-stack development across backend, frontend, data engineering, and DevOps.
- Architect scalable SaaS solutions and oversee system design.
- Drive AI integrations and data engineering efforts.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver impactful, user-focused products.
