At Group107, we are looking for a R&D manager to join our clients’ project — a leading global fintech company delivering advanced trading solutions in forex, CFDs, and other financial instruments. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will shape the company’s technology strategy, lead global R&D teams, and drive innovation to scale secure and compliant trading platforms.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience leading R&D or software development in fintech, trading, payments, or SaaS.
- Deep technical expertise in architecture, backend/frontend, cloud, and DevOps.
- Proven track record delivering scalable, high-availability, distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of fintech security, compliance, and regulatory standards (e.g. MiFID, CySEC, FCA).
- Experience managing multicultural, global tech teams.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- Bonus: Familiarity with trading platforms (MT4/MT5), FIX protocol, real-time data, API integrations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and expand R&D teams (software, QA, DevOps, data) across global locations.
- Own end-to-end development of trading platforms, APIs, analytics, and client tools.
- Define and implement long-term technology strategy aligned with business and regulatory goals.
- Drive innovation in performance, automation, cybersecurity, and infrastructure.
- Ensure product quality, security, and compliance with international regulations.
- Promote a collaborative and learning-focused team culture.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies (AI/ML, big data, cloud).
- Manage budgets, vendors, and tech partnerships.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments (Product, Sales, Operations, Compliance).
