As the Head of AI Department, you will be responsible for establishing and leading our AI division, driving end-to-end development of cutting-edge machine learning solutions, and playing a critical role in pre-sales engagements. You will combine strategic leadership with hands-on engineering, working closely with internal teams and clients to deliver transformative AI solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience building ML/AI solutions hands-on (NLP, CV, recommendation systems, predictive analytics, etc.)
- Prior leadership experience as a Head of R&D, Engineering Manager, or AI/ML Team Lead
- Solid background in software engineering and data science
- Strong Python skills (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, etc.)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps tools
- Understanding of full ML lifecycle, from data collection to deployment and monitoring
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, and collaborative
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments
- Advanced or fluent English
Responsibilities
- Establish and grow a high-performing AI team from scratch, including hiring, mentoring, and shaping the vision and strategy
- Architect and build ML models and AI-driven systems; stay actively involved in coding, prototyping, and experimentation
- Work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to define AI-driven product features and R&D roadmaps
- Join client meetings in pre-sales stages to identify opportunities, define AI solution scopes, and build technical trust
- Stay ahead of industry trends, explore new technologies and methodologies, and translate research into practical solutions
- Oversee project timelines, resources, and deliverables; ensure best practices in MLOps, model lifecycle management, and responsible AI
