Group107 is looking for a Head of Israeli Tax Product / Lead Tax Expert to join one of our fast-growing fintech products focused on automating accounting and tax processes for the Israeli market.
This role combines deep Israeli tax expertise with product ownership and client interaction, offering a unique opportunity to influence a high-impact SaaS product used by accounting professionals. You will take professional ownership of the Israeli tax domain, work closely with strategic clients and internal product teams, and ensure the product remains accurate, compliant, and market-leading.
Requirements
- Proven and deep knowledge of Israeli taxation for both corporations and individuals
- Background in Israeli accounting/tax environment; experience in small-to-mid sized CPA firms is a strong advantage
- Strong understanding of Israeli accounting standards and regulatory frameworks
- Experience working with clients and delivering high-level professional service
- Product-oriented mindset with the ability to translate complex tax logic into structured solutions
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Interest in technology, SaaS products, AI, or automation is an advantage
- English level: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher
Responsibilities
- Own the Israeli tax domain within the product (corporations & individuals), ensuring professional accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Act as the key tax authority within the product team, translating tax requirements into product functionality
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, R&D, and business stakeholders to define and improve product features
- Work directly with strategic clients to understand needs, solve complex tax cases, and continuously enhance the product
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely and correct implementation within the system
- Lead professional tax processes end-to-end, connecting tax, business, and technology perspectives
- Support sales and customer-facing teams with expert tax knowledge when required
